SOUNDCLOUD, PODCAST & VIDCAST

SoundCloud is an online platform that allows users to discover, stream, and share music and audio content. It was founded in 2007 and has grown to become one of the largest music and audio-sharing platforms on the internet. It provides a space for artists, musicians, podcasters, and other audio creators to upload and promote their work while offering listeners a vast library of music and audio content to explore.

Vidcast is a term that combines the words "video" and "broadcast". It refers to a type of online content that involves creating and distributing videos, typically in a serious or episodic format. Vidcasts are similar to podcasts but incorporate video footage instead of audio only. Vidcasts can cover a wide range of topics and formats, including interviews, discussions, tutorials, reviews, vlogs, and more. They are often published on platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, or other video-hosting websites, allowing viewers to watch and engage with the content.

A podcast is a digital audio or video file series that is available for download or streaming over the internet. It is similar to a radio show or a television series. Still, with a critical difference: podcasts are typically on-demand, meaning that listeners can choose when and where to listen to episodes. They can be produced on different platforms such as Apple, Spotify, or SoundCloud that I preferred while producing my podcast about language learning. I have talked about the language learning process and its tips and strategies. I'll share a link to my podcast with you, hoping that will give you an insight.
